CHAH had its end of the year Academic Awards!
It was the third of such ceremonies that occurred throughout this year. Each grade and subject honored its Top Student and its Rising Phoenix!

A special THANK YOU to Holocaust Survivor Estelle Laughlin for taking time to speak to some CHAH Social Studies students this week.
Her story was truly remarkable as was her ability to tell it.

The CHAH Cross Country Team had an abbreviated season but made in happen. Led by Senior runner William Staack, the team held practices and workouts along the Hudson River.
“It was great to just get back out there and be running again,” Billy Staack said.
For Rising 7th & 8th graders: Please take part in our 2nd Annual CHAH Summer Reading Challenge! Check your email for a Google Classroom invitation from your literacy teacher.
This challenge will run from June 26-August 31 and you will be able to compete against your peers to win a $25 Amazon Gift Card! There will be multiple opportunities to win a prize over the summer.

The boys basketball team is having a great Spring! Since April 7th, the boys have adjusted and practiced and played games outside!
So far, the boys are undefeated (5-0) in non leagues/scrimmages.
The PSAL season started last week with a loss to Manhattan A powerhouse Seward Park.
Starting this week, the PSAL schedule gets cranked up and the boys look to continue their success and hard work!
