The Girls Volleyball season is off to an exciting start! Led by Ms. Calev and Ms. Jacobson, the team is young, eager, hard working and have shown great improvements already! Good luck to the girls as they continue their season.
The CHAH Co-Ed Cross Country Team, our school’s first team ever to enter into the PSAL started their season this past week! Runners Kayla Hidaldgo, Nathaly Ames Pizarro, and Makeba Doumbia competed in the Girl’s Grand Prix on Tuesday. Athlete Michael Perez competed in the Boy’s race that same day.
Then this past Saturday, those runners were joined by Lisa Tang in the Marty Lewis “Hurry Back” Challenge. The team was managed this week by Maya Lee and Lizbeth Acevedo, who both did an outstanding job motivating the runners and keeping track of their times.
The team has really hit the ground running this season! Go CHAH! Go!
The banner is in! Congrats to the boys basketball team on winning the Manhattan I Division this spring in the PSAL season.
The boys overcame so much just have a season and succeeded when given the chance! They were led by juniors Sayvior Carroll, Trevhon Cox, Adrian Mejia and Dave Calderon, freshman John Harrington and seniors Ryan Taveras and Jose Cordero.
Thanks so much to Principal Falciani for his support that allowed this season to happen. His dedication to acting in the best interest of students was on full display!

CHAH had its end of the year Academic Awards!
It was the third of such ceremonies that occurred throughout this year. Each grade and subject honored its Top Student and its Rising Phoenix!
