The students were so impressed by Tak's patriotism and positivity in response to such a difficult experience.

Tak is one of the few remaining survivors of this tragic event in American history. Mr. King's class spent weeks learning about the US government's decision to incarcerate the people of Japanese descent and had so many excellent questions for him!

Tak volunteered for the Vietnam War and served with distinction earning a Bronze Star! Tak is a true American hero!
