CHAH Middle School and 9th and 10th grade Basketball had an exciting game v WHEELS in a packed gym!! Great efforts all sides!
CHAH was honored to welcome Takashi Furumoto back to speak with our 8th graders! Tak shared his extraordinary life story—born in an internment camp, growing up in post-nuclear Hiroshima, and later returning to the U.S. to serve in Vietnam. Today, Tak is a successful real estate entrepreneur, leading Furumoto Real Estate.
Adding to the excitement, a documentary crew was on-site, capturing Tak’s visit and interviewing several CHAH students about their experience. A huge thank you to Tak for sharing his inspiring journey and leaving a lasting impression on our students! 🙌 #StoriesThatInspire #CHAHProud
In Mr. Ng's 7th grade Social Studies class, history came alive as students dived into the world of the original 13 colonies! Grouped by colonial regions—New England, Middle, and Southern Colonies—students put their knowledge to the test by creating dynamic presentations to recruit "new settlers" to their regions.
The interactive Colonial Recruitment Fair welcomed guests from 6th to 8th grade, along with teachers and staff, making it one of CHAH’s most exciting events yet. A big round of applause to our incredible guests for volunteering their time and to Mr. Ng for organizing this innovative and unforgettable experience for our students! 👏✨ #LearningInAction #ColonialAmerica

BioBus brought the wonders of science to the 7th and 8th graders at the Community Health Academy of the Heights! 🪱✨ Students dove into two fascinating ecosystems—exploring the hidden world of compost, filled with worms and tiny organisms, and observing lively daphnia in pond water. A big thank you to Ms. Tarazi and Ms. Persaud for organizing this amazing experience! Together, we’re inspiring young scientists to discover, explore, and reach their full potential. 🌍🔬 #ScienceForAll #DiscoverExplorePursue
